Carrot Potter - Education is Magic

Mat-Su College will be represented in this year’s Veggies in Motion. From July 24--August 24, 2007 ten artist decorated veggies will be on display throughout downtown Palmer. The grand unveiling will took place Friday, July 20 at the Friday Fling Market (across from the Palmer Visitor’s Center.)

Our own “Carrot Potter” will be on display outside Fireside Books. We hear that they have events planned for this weekend when the final Harry Potter book goes on sale. On Friday, July 20th at 7:00 p.m. the Palmer Arts Council Summer Youth Band and Summer Youth Percussion Band will perform at the Palmer Train Depot. From 8:00-10:30 p.m. Quidditch Matches will be held at the Palmer Public Library, and at 9:00 p.m. you can pick up the “Calling All Wizards” contest materials at Fireside Books.

We had a great team of thinkers and crafters who helped in completing our vision of Carrot Potter.

Thank you all!
