Mat-Su College completed it's first continuing education class in Beginning AutoCAD this week for Job Corps. It was a 3-day course taught by Diane Jardel. March 24-26, 2003 |

This
group of students was from the construction trades (carpentry) group
at Job Corps in Palmer. They had little if any experience in
reading blueprints. They had no experience in design. This course
gave them a taste of the bigger picture. We provided the students
with a certificate of completion and materials on the college CAD (AET)
program.
Some of the student reactions were: “I enjoyed this course very much and recommend it to anyone in the construction field.” “I am studying HVAC in the fall. This course gave me a great head start.” |
