Previous faculty experience and/or other work experience:
I have been an adjunct faculty member at the Univ. of Alaska Anchorage since summer semester 1987. I also taught as an assistant in the Geology Dept. as a Stanford Fellow between 1972-1978 at Stanford Univ. I have worked part-time with the U.S. Geological Survey in Alaska between 1969 and 1978. I am a Geologist with the State of Alaska, Div. of Geological & Geophysical Surveys since 1979.
Areas of interest or expertise outside professional discipline:
like art and operating boats - especially in Venice, Italy.
Favorite spot in the Mat-Su Valley:
I like the Reed Creek drainage region near Hatcher Pass of the Talkeetna Mountains. I also like the Caribou Creek drainage region of the Talkeetna Mountains.
