About the Director

Dennis Clark has served the UAA community in a variety of pivotal roles for more than 30 years. He started as a Registration Officer at Anchorage Community College (ACC) in 1975, and was quickly promoted to Assistant Director and then Director of Admissions and Records, a position he held through the merger of ACC and UAA in 1987-88. He joined the Eagle River campus as Director in 1989.

Active in his community, Clark is a member and past President of both the local Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. He has served as Interim Director for Matanuska-Susitna College since February 2006.

MSC Governance Council

The College Governance Council collects information and recommendations, considers proposals from the various constituent groups, and makes recommendations to the Director regarding college organization, policy, program development, and goals and objectives.
