Background:
Dan Mielke has been teaching Refrigeration and Heating at Matanuska-Susitna College since the fall of 1995.
Dan started his career in HVAC/R at Mat-Su College when the program was new, in 1976. He has worked in the industry since that time as an Industrial Refrigeration Technician, HVAC Technician, and Maintenance Manager.
Prior to his current full-time teaching position, Dan served as the Maintenance Supervisor and Building Operations Manager at the British Petroleum Headquarters Building in Anchorage.
Dan is a lifelong Alaskan resident who enjoys participating in outdoor activities with his wife and two children.
